Exclusive acrylic painting with hand-drawn details by Alan Pedersen - ALANTHEROCK.
Title: ANCESTOR
-
Thoughts from the artist:
-
“Almost elemental, these life forms have been here since the dawn of life on this planet. Basic instincts and basic needs, yet they remain mysterious. Some are even so poisonous that they are considered among the deadliest life forms, almost alien in nature. And yet, they have been here longer than most other species. They seem isolated, yet there are many of them, indicating that they must be social.
We evolved from this millions, if not billions, of years ago. We've come a long way since then. But perhaps we are the aliens now. Have we truly evolved into something better? Is it really evolution? Although it represents the basic functions of life, have we changed for the better and become more sophisticated? Or are we still acting on basic instincts and needs?"
- Alan Pedersen (ALANTHEROCK)
The creation process:
This piece is crafted using water-based acrylic paint, featuring bright, warm neon colors, with detailed lines enhancing its depth and richness. The powerful colours give it an otherworldly feel, while a spectrum of raw, bold brush strokes contrasts with the fine, delicate strokes around the ancestor figure plus other elements for extra thoughts. This original painting truly comes to life, evoking a sense of wonder. The striking colour combination adds to its story and elegance.
The delicately painted frame is integral to the artwork, adding the final touch to Alan's vision and emphasizing its artistic purpose. As such, the painting and frame are sold together as a single piece.
