Exclusive acrylic painting with hand-drawn details by Alan Pedersen - ALANTHEROCK.
Title: Lysets Tilstedeværelse - Break of Light
-
Thoughts from the artist:
"
“Light works in wondrous ways. Only when it breaks does it show its colours, revealing the hues of the surroundings between the source and the observer. It paints the sky, reflects in water, and is essential for life. Humans have always been fascinated by sunset and sunrise. The break of dawn offers hope for something better, while sunsets provide a time for reflection and wonder," says Alan Pedersen - ALANTHEROCK.
The creation process:
Crafted with water-based acrylic paint, incorporating bright, warm neon colours, and detailed lines to enhance depth and richness. This remarkable original painting truly comes to life and captures wonder. The outstanding color combination contributes to its story and elegance. The delicately painted frame is an integral part of the artwork, adding the final touch to Alan's vision and emphasizing its artistic purpose. Therefore, it is sold as one art piece.

Elaboration of Thoughts by Alan
“Light works in wondrous ways. Only when it breaks does it show its colours, revealing the hues of the surroundings between the source and the observer. It paints the sky, reflects in water, and is essential for life. Humans have always been fascinated by sunset and sunrise. The break of dawn offers hope for something better, while sunsets provide a time for reflection and wonder.
This painting came quite easily to me, although it took time to achieve the desired outcome. It needed to capture the conflicted feelings regarding light—amazement and introspection as we watch the last light of day. When the final sun rays cross the horizon, the landscape or room dims, leaving behind colder temperatures and darkness. The same occurs at dawn when the first light appears. During Scandinavian summers, it happens early, and for some, the night hasn’t even stopped. But you witness how the surroundings awaken and smell the fresh morning dew. It instils a sense of hope and new adventures. The light will always break through at some point—the light of life and hope.” says Alan
and continuous:
“I drew inspiration for my colour combinations from this aspect and from the wonderful nature. The green and blue shapes with the almost fiery red sun complement and contrast each other so well. The sun rays breaking through the dark and lush pine trees create a captivating scene. I hope the observer finds it both interesting and pleasant, sparking conversations with themselves or others.”
