The Craft Behind the Work

SOAL Studio creates at the intersection of photography and fine art. Lifting Sky begins with the photography of the sky itself, then is transformed through hand-drawn details and layers of acrylic paint and texture,  a process that turns a captured moment into something entirely new.

Every element has been placed with intention. The textures don't simply decorate; they give the sky a physical presence, something you almost feel you could reach into. This is what separates Lifting Sky from a poster. It is a crafted object. A work of art made with hands and eyes and considered decisions.
